On a hot summer day
my feet remember hot lava between my toes
my legs remember the splash from the hot water
my body remembers lying on the warm sand
my arms remember swimming in the ocean
my hands remember feeling the warm sand
my face remembers the sweating dropping down my face
my mind remembers that holiday will be happening again.
