kayaking

On friday 30 of October everybody in room 7 and 1 got ready for the trip so what we need was a water bottle togs and a towel before we enter the bus, when we made it first we had to take a picture just to see what’s happening minutes later we sat on the chairs just wait for  other people that are currently using the boats later on when they are finished with the boats we finally got changed into our togs then instructors told us what to do before we wear the safety gear on soon he chose our groups on what boat we go there was a yellow, orange, and blue boats so they put me into orange then we started lifting our boats just to get ready my experience was really scary because the water a little bit deep to start off with then when we go closer to the bridge then i could reach the ground it took long to reach the bridge but when i made it we started to play three games it was cross the boats, tag with paddles, and water polo and then finally we made it back shore the end.

Home or school?

When coronavirus didn’t exist it was just are normal day of school but then people started to capture covid 19 during the year,on 28 February 2020 the president started to close down all of the schools to stay safe,so to all the learning going the teachers decided to do online home work just so we don’t forget about learning. My teacher does online calls every 12:00 or 2:30 but you can go to one of them but i prefer to go to both because we get house points.I think going to school is a lot better than learning at home because we get to learn more and we can just do more things at school than home.Sometimes online calls makes you feel weird talking to your friends and looking at them through a Chromebook screen feels really different between real life.

Second time of lockdown

On August 12 people in Auckland have had 85 cases in New Zealand. The only ways to recover from the coronavirus is to always wash your hands, always stay 2 metres apart, and stay home.right now New Zealand is currently at level 3 and all other country are at level 2.If no one can go outside and you have nothing to just do dancing, read books, anything to keep your self entertained

And again be kind, stay safe, and look after one another

Healing With Samoan Plants : )

Pin on Garden/ Flowers
Samoan has different ways to heal if people have injured them self and for sickness we use purple leaves .Samoans grow the purple leaves in their  plants to help their own family.

Heres a picture of what it looks like

Its mostly purple.  Its really good for healing bones or people that are really sick.  Cultures have different ways to heal peoples bodies.  Some use plants ,  some use prayers , and there are others ways people use for their culture.

School protection

On school day our class was looking forward to the holidays.  What we do in school is learning how to stop the cornavirus from spreading everywhere, our teacher said to not touch anyone and always sanitize and wash our hands and to be 2 metres away from people.  From today Friday 27th of march  2020 N.Z has 282 confirmed cases of Covid-19 known as cornavirus on Wednesday 25th of march  at 11:59 N.Z have reached to level 4 and in lock down which means no one is allowed to leave their home.  Except for people that are working at the pharmacy and medical center supermarkets and other places that are essential services as the country are on lock down for 4 weeks and we can not leave our homes this is a good time to spend time with our loved ones and to do things together with our family.  Hope everyone stay safe and remember to always wash or sanitize your hands and wear a mask when you leave your home.

Be kind, stay safe and look after one another.

Lock down

One school day some one tried to steal something from our school, so Mrs Pederson went to every class to say lock your doors and windows. while she was doing that the police dogs were  smelling the ground to track down the person who stole the TV, meanwhile the policeman called in reinforcements because they could not find him, so we had to wait for 30 minutes. Suddenly they found him running so the policeman was chasing him. 5 minuets later they caught him.

Tech word work

Monday 9 February 2020

In wood works we had to create our own workbook to choose what to create for our family. Mr Grundy wanted to use a different material so he showed us the giant metal. So what he did with the metal was he melted the metal to fit in the the picture mold. What we had to do was write four of our family members and add four pictures to each one after we finished adding four of our pictures we had to write our name on the board so Mr Grundy can call out our name to print out our pictures to shade in the back of our picture to make the mold. After that step we had to use a dangerous machine to cut the extra wood around the picture. We needed two pieces of Square shaped wood. The last step is to put the liquid metal inside the mold and let it dry for a day then we can take it home.

Water fun day

on Friday the school was excited for water fun day. The teachers had there own activity the teacher wrote a team number so Mrs Pederson can call out our teams every time Mrs Pederson rings the siren we have to switch to the next activity. What we had was play the games then try to get points for our house groups. After we played six games we went back to hear how points we got for our house, and after Mrs Devi called out all the points for each group she announce the winner she said the is kowhai. before we were gonna go home Mrs pederson gave every body a bottle from Mr Golder.
